Species Info:

This lifeform is found north of the Mason Dixon line in North America.

Blue-Green Algae (Cyanophyta) (Cyanobacteria) are  now considered as part of the Bacteria group. They are found in diverse habitats usually associated with water. Although all of these are microscopic, sometimes they form visible colonies. In fresh water, they sometimes form balls of blue-green substance. These balls can be tiny or as large as a golf ball. There  are probably less than 3,000 species in this Blue-Green Algae group.

Eubacteria, the true Bacteria, is the group that contains most of the Bacteria that impact on our daily lives. Some of the diseases caused by Bacteria are: Strep Throat, Scarlet Fever. Syphilis, and Gonorrhea.

Monera kingdom includes the various bacteria.
